Blackpill Wildlife Centre

February 15th 2004 reopening

"Thanks to a grant from Environment Wales' Princes Trust Blackpill Wildlife Centre has had a makeover. As you can see from the photographs the Centre has new signs on the outside and inside has been brightened up and filled with lots of interesting information about the SSSI & Swansea Bay along with details of other birdwatching sites with free magazines & leaflets about birds. Judith Cook, Coordinator of Environment Wales, came to our "Makeover Celebrations" on February 15th to present the Centre with a cheque and to see how we had spent the grant. She was very impressed with the work carried out and also with the fact that the Centre is run entirely by volunteers, and she wished us all the best for the future."
